Job Description

We are looking for a FULL-TIME OFFICE POSITION WordPress Developer who possesses in-depth knowledge of programming languages like HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript and can develop functional, user-friendly, and attractive websites that meet the specification and functionality requirements of our clients.

As a skilled WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins, security updates, site integration, and front-end as well as back-end development. The ideal candidate for this position should also have good content management skills and an eye for aesthetics, such as the arrangement of elements on the screen, typography choice, font colors, etc.

Expected Responsibilities

• Working with senior developers to help make changes to the website
• Following proven design patterns with clean, and readable code, and proper component designs
• Fixing email templates and customizing the subpages 
• Developing custom plugins or widgets
• Adding the provided content to the website
• Troubleshooting content-related issues
• Uploading photos, images, etc., as required
• Helping to fix CSS and responsive issues
• Converting HTML into engaging WordPress themes
• Helping to test, rebuild, and troubleshoot code
• Configuring database connections
• Optimizing code and finding bugs or errors
• Extending and optimizing current software architecture
• Adapting to a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Evaluating and identifying appropriate technology choices
• Producing high-quality software on schedule
• Monitoring the performance of live websites

Required Skills And Qualifications

• A BTech or BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study
• Ability to work remotely, stay self-motivated, and focus on the given work
• Experience with PHP MVC Frameworks (such as Symfony, Laravel), MySQL, or MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with RESTful web services and software troubleshooting within an integrated development environment
• Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns, databases, operating systems, and debugging
• Working experience with Git
• Experience with the development of CRM, mobile apps, and financial applications preferred
• Strong knowledge of Bootstrap v3 and v4
• Converting HTML to WordPress Themes
• Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies
• Understanding of responsive web design
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Understanding WordPress optimization and Security

Must-Haves

• 2+ years of relevant and demonstrable experience
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of using project management tools like Jira/Basecamp/FreedBase etc.
