Job Description

We are looking for a FULL-TIME OFFICE POSITION Android Developer, proficient with native android development, to help us build awesome apps that integrate with our service platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Android design and development, with one or more apps in the Google Play app store, and be well-seasoned in building apps for mobile devices like tablets and smart kiosks in react native, node.js, and other frameworks.

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for working with our team of talented developers for application architecture, development, and innovation of new feature development to support consumer mobile solutions, testing code for robustness, including general reliability, edge cases, and usability, and bug fixing and improving the performance of the apps.

Expected Responsibilities

• Working with our product team to build exciting new app features for our customers
• Working with the QA team in analyzing and resolving issues/defects
• Working with the Engineering team on in-app deployment activities
• Working with our UX team to implement pixel-perfect designs and animations
• Implementing unit test cases as part of new feature development
• Maintaining regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Understanding of Push / Pull via Bitbucket and Git
• Managing projects and tasks on Jira
• Communicating with the team on Slack
• Reporting to the designated Team Leader or Project Manager

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience as an Android developer
• Knowledge of object-oriented software development
• Experience in building Android applications in Java using Android SDK
• Mobile application development experience at the user interface and system levels
• Experience with Android Architecture like MVVM
• Experience with dependency injection using Dagger Hilt.
• Experience in designing and maintaining APIs
• Experience writing tests and testable code
• Experience with Android performance tools and optimization techniques
• Experience working with media players and custom graphics in android

Nice To Have

• Experience understanding and debugging large codebases
• Experience/knowledge in Coroutines
• Experience with Jira and BitBucket/Github
• Knowledge in flutter
• Knowledge of Xamarin
• Familiarity with Blockchain technologies
• Experience in building APIs before

Job Type: Full-Time (Urgent Hiring)

Shift Timing:

You are expected to work a 9-hour shift with a 1-hour break. Our office and team are usually responsive 24/7. You will be working with the team at our Kolkata location in Astra Towers.

This position would be a full-time office-only position.
